Fosroc Auramol H15

Adam Lowe

Auramol H15 is a specially formulated synthetic-based mould oil, having release properties which are superior to those of a conventional mould oil. Auramol H15 is supplied as a pale straw colour liquid ready for direct application. In addition to preventing adhesion of the cement matrix to the formwork, Auramol H15 allows air, which would otherwise be trapped, to escape from the surface during placing and vibration. This air release property minimises surface blemishes and results in a substantial reduction in remedial costs.

Adomast Safetard Gel

SAFETARD GEL
Water Based Surface Retarder for Application to Formwork
A transparent, gel type composition colour tinted to assist application. SAFETARD GEL has been formulated to retard the set of fresh concrete that comes into contact with it. It is ideally suited to the production of exposed aggregate finishes or ‘keyed’ surfaces for construction joints or for subsequent application of plasters or renders. It is coloured to give a visual indication of where it has been applied.
Advantages
• Easily applied by brush to all formwork types
• Weather resistant
• Single coat application
• Concrete can be applied immediately or later
• Non staining
• Water based with no flammable or toxic constituents
• Any residue on formwork is easily removed
• Can be used on vertical surface

SAFELEASE -Environmentally Friendly Formwork Release Agent
SAFELEASE has been developed using the latest water soluble polymer technology to produce an
environmentally friendly and highly efficient release material for concrete formwork on site.
SAFELEASE is ready to use and particularly suited to outdoor use on faced sealed plywood, steel
moulds and other impervious formwork materials.
Advantages
• Recommended for high quality finishes
• WRAS approved product
• Low to no odour
• Safe, environmentally friendly product.
• NO VOC content
• Low viscosity for easy application
• Readily biodegradable
• After water evaporation, film is resistant to
water wash off
• Forms may be stripped early when other
factors permit.
• Suitable for use with white, coloured or
standard OPC concrete finishes.
• Non staining
• Fully compatible with the subsequent
application of silicone or similar surface
treatments when used as recommended

ADOSTRIP
Contractor’s Concrete Mould Oil (BCA Category 2)
ADOSTRIP is release agent that design for general site use to achieve easy formwork release. ADOSTRIP forms a physical barrier between the formwork surface and the concrete and minimise blowholes and provide a clean uniform and non-stained surface.
Application
Apply by spray, brush or swab prior to each concrete pour, and as near to time of placement of concrete as practical conditions permit. Timber and other porous forms which have not been treated with ADOSEAL or other suitable sealer should initially be treated with a double coat of ADOSTRIP; the first applied heavily and allowed to stand for maximum absorption before the second is applied in normal manner.

Adomast Adolease

Adam Lowe

ADOLEASE is release agent that design for general site use to achieve easy formwork release. It is a blend of reactive oils in a partially evaporative rapid drying hydrocarbon carrier. The carrier dries to form a positive barrier coating on the form face. This leaves the reactive materials that subsequently combine with alkalis in the concrete to form soaps at the interface of the formwork barrier coating and the concrete. This double action not only facilitates easy formwork release and first class concrete finish but also maintains a degree of formwork cleanliness beyond that generally obtained by other release agents. Adolease is WBS listed for use where concrete will be in contact with potable water. WRAS Approval Letter Number 0710538
Advantages
• Double action provides physical barrier and chemical release properties.
• Facilitates maximum re-usage of all types of formwork.
• Provides uniform stain-free concrete surfaces.
• Minimises incidence of surface air voids.
• Will not impair the bond of any subsequent treatments to concrete.
• Concrete deposits on forms virtually eliminated.
• Dries rapidly on forms to provide cleaner and safer working surfaces.
• Will not be removed by rain showers or foot traffic.
• Inhibits rust formation on steel forms.
• Light spray mist coat application provides extremely economic usage.
• Suitable for use on all types of formwork

ADOSTRIKE
Concrete Mould Oil (BCA Category 5)
ADOSTRIKE is high quality mould oil for general site and precast yard use that achieves a top quality concrete finish in most situations. Release is achieved by the oil forming a physical barrier between the formwork surface and the concrete. Surfactants help to eliminate blowholes and provide a clean uniform and non-stained surface.
Advantages
• Facilitates easy formwork release.
• Provides uniform stain-free concrete surfaces high quality.
• Minimises incidence of surface air voids.
• Reduces form cleaning to a minimum.
• Highly resistant to removal by rain showers or foot traffic.
• High coverage rate provides economic usage.
• Suitable for use on all types of formwork in all climatic conditions.
• Easy application by spray, brush or swab.
• Suitable for use on sealed or unsealed timber
formwork.
• Forms may be stripped early as other factors permit
• Ideal for achieving release from multi-planed features e.g. trapezoidal ribs, cone shaped column heads etc.
• Suitable for use with white or standard OPC concrete finishes.
• Fully compatible with the subsequent application of silicone or similar surface treatments when

Adomast Extracon DS

Adam Lowe

EXTRACON DS is a chemical release agent specifically formulated to give easy release of formwork and high quality surface finishes to concrete. Equally suitable for use with form liner systems.
Benefits
•Suitable for use with all types of
formwork.
• It is a suspension and sediment free, highly mobile liquid, which can be used in very fine sprays without clogging the jets.
• Has no unpleasant odour even when using a fine fog spray.
• Very economic coverage rates can be obtained without difficulty.
• Retains its mobility at low temperatures.
• It may be applied immediately prior to casting, or treated forms may be left until apparently dry.
• May be used to affect positive release with liner systems. (Rubber, neoprene and EPS.)
• Continued use gives progressively better results on timber formwork.
• Dries in 2-3 hours to give a safe walking surface on soffits shutters which are not affected by rain.
• Can be used with either grey or white cement, also concretes containing pigments.
• Provides a quick, positive release of formwork, reducing labour costs and damage to formwork and moulds.
• Drastically reduces the incidence of blowholes, surface blemishes and staining.
• It is an effective rust inhibitor.
• Listed under Water Bylaws Scheme as suitable for use on potable water.
