Joint Fillers are a jointing material used for concrete brick and blockwork expansion and movement joints. Concrete for example expands and contracts according to temperature and therefore some of type of filler is needed between slabwork to keep the concrete from buckling when it expands, and to fill the resultant gaps when the concrete contracts. Joint Fillers may also be used between slabs, and also to separate slabs from structures, thereby preventing damage which may occur during these expansion and contraction cycles.
