Fosroc Concure WB

Concure WB is a water based concrete curing compound based on a low viscosity wax emulsion. It is supplied as a white emulsion which forms a clear film on drying. When first applied to a fresh cementitious surface the emulsion breaks to form a continuous, non-penetrating white coating. This dries to form a continuous clear film which provides a barrier to moisture loss, ensuring more efficient cement hydration, improved durability and reduced shrinkage.

Flexcrete Curing Membrane WB

Curing-Membrane-WB are non degrading formulated acrylic resin sealers which form an elastic, durable matrix within cementitious substrates. When used with Flexcrete Repair Mortars, they conform to the requirements for water retention given in ASTM C309. Flexcrete Curing Membrane SB is solvent based and can be subjected to early immersion in tidal zones.

SAFECURE STANDARD is a spray-on temporary membrane to retain moisture in freshly placed concrete. It is formulated to prevent evaporation of the gauging water and provides an economical and efficient method for curing concrete.
SAFECURE STANDARD is a clear, low viscosity liquid which has alkali reactive emulsion breaking system. This system ensures that the emulsion breaks down to form a penetrating continuous film immediately upon contact with a cementitious surface. This impervious film prevents excessive water evaporation which in turn permits more efficient cement hydration, reducing shrinkage and increasing durability. The membrane once formed is degraded over a period of time depending on the conditions of exposure.

ADOTUF Concrete Surface Hardener and Dust-proofer
The application of ADOTUF to an existing cement-bound floor will significantly improve the properties of the floor to render it. ADOTUF is a liquid chemical solution which when diluted with water and applied to existing cement-bound floors case-hardens the surface, rendering it dustproof even when subjected to wire-brushing. It also greatly improves resistance to deterioration due to spillage of oils, greases and acids. This is achieved by the special chemicals in ADOTUF which enter the pores and capillaries in the concrete and combine with free lime to form an extremely hard, chemically resistant crystalline material which becomes an integral part of the floor.
ADOTUF will greatly extend the life of both old and new floors. It not only considerably reduces floor maintenance and subsequent cleaning costs, but also reduces dust hazard to both health and machinery. Applying ADOTUF is quick and easy, and may be carried out by unskilled labour with only a minimum of interruption to floor usage. ADOTUF is a treatment for all cement-bound floors but will not be effective in binding together surfaces where the cement paste is of such poor quality that its surface is in a state of disintegration.

Curing Compounds
ADOCURE WW is physically “locks” moisture into freshly cast concrete surfaces to allow full hydration of the cement thus allowing the concrete to fully “cure”. It does this by blocking the pores in the concrete surface with a silica gel, this gel has been specially developed to dry out over a period of seven days or so, the most critical period for concrete curing, in so doing it gradually shrinks, thereby unblocking the pores in the concrete giving access to the capillaries within the concrete which then allows the uninhibited uptake of subsequent concrete surface treatments such as silane.
ADOCURE WWT is identical in every respect to ADOCUREWW other than it contains a blue dye to ease identification and application. This is a fugitive dye i.e. it is removed under the action of ultra violet light, and correctly applied will not permanently discolour the concrete.
We guarantee that ADOCUREWW and ADOCUREWWT will not adversely affect the bonding of any renders screeds or coatings that would normally bond to concrete.
