Chipping Compound
Chipping Compound is designed for use on flat roofs to adhere mineral aggregates such as gravel, white spar, limestone or granite chippings to mastic asphalt or built up bitumen felt roofing. Chippings may be fixed for aesthetic reasons, or to provide a solar reflective surface. Light coloured aggregates significantly reduce solar heat gain, limiting surface temperatures, and act as an effective barrier against the harmful effects of ultra violet radiation.
